Valeria De Luca is an applied machine learning researcher at the Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research, where she works on innovative digital endpoints for clinical trials. Prior to joining Novartis in 2017, she was a postdoctoral research fellow at UCSF and ETH Zurich focusing on predictive models for critical care. She holds a PhD in Computer Vision from ETH Zurich on personalized cancer treatments.
