Daniel Oesch is a professor of economic sociology at the University of Lausanne. His research interests comprise social stratification and labor markets. Previously, he worked as central secretary of the Swiss Federation of Trade Unions in Bern. He is the author of two books: Occupational Change in Europe (Oxford University Press, 2013), Redrawing the Class Map (Palgrave Macmillan, 2006).
