Giuliano Bonoli is Professor of social policy at the Swiss graduate school for public administration at the University of Lausanne. He received his PhD at the University of Kent at Canterbury and previously worked at the University of Bath (UK), Bern and Fribourg (Switzerland). His main research topic is the transformation and adaptation of European welfare states. Recently his work has focused on the challenges posed by migration and digitalisation to social cohesion.
