Portrait image of Patrick Jayet

Patrick Jayet is technical lead on Computer Vision topics at AXA REV in Lausanne where he oversees various innovative projects, working with a team of talented data scientists and software engineers. Together they work on topics such as image tampering detection, satellite image analysis or Handwriting Recognition, to name a few. Patrick studied Computer Science at ETH Zurich and did a minor in Artificial Intelligence – at a time when the topic was not trendy in research or industry. He worked as a Software Engineer and consultant in Zurich for various Swiss finance and telco companies before coming back to his hometown and starting at AXA’s innovation lab on EPFL campus three years ago.
