Tolga Tasdizen is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Utah, and a member of the Scientific Computing and Imaging (SCI) Institute. His research interests are in machine learning and computer vision with a focus on health related applications. He is particularly interested in deep learning applications where labeled data is scarce, and researches alternative methods of supervision and semi-supervised learning approaches for solving these problems. 

Tolga received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Bogazici University in 1995. He received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in engineering from Brown University in 1997 and 2001, respectively.
